Module 1: Active Listening Made Simple

You’ll watch two live partner demonstrations that bring these skills to life, and you’ll be guided through creating your own “Wish List”—a simple yet powerful exercise that teaches you how to express needs clearly, without blame or defensiveness.

Module 2: Stress-Reducing Conversation
This module teaches you how to have calm, connecting check-ins that actually lower stress instead of adding to it. You’ll learn a simple framework for evening or weekend conversations designed to help both partners decompress, feel understood, and reconnect after busy or overwhelming days.
Through a live partner demonstration, you’ll see exactly how to use the Stress-Reducing Weekend Conversation—a tool that turns daily tension into emotional closeness and teamwork.

Module 3: The 7 Non-Connecting Responses
Did you know there are 7 ways we create disconnection in our responses? In this module, you’ll learn to recognize the subtle ways we accidentally disconnect in conversation—even when our intentions are good. I’ll walk you through the 7 Non-Connecting Responses that quietly erode safety and understanding, and show you what to do instead.
You’ll see this come to life through two partner demonstrations—one with Patrick and me, and another with a real couple—so you can spot these patterns in yourself and learn how to shift back into connection in real time.
By the end, you’ll have a clear awareness of what shuts communication down and the tools to keep your conversations open, safe, and emotionally connected.
Module 4: Navigating Triggers
This module helps you understand what’s really happening in your body and mind when you or your partner get triggered. You’ll learn how to identify your own trigger patterns, what they’re trying to protect, and how to calm your nervous system before reacting.
Through guided reflection and simple regulation tools, you’ll practice navigating your own triggers so you can respond with awareness instead of defensiveness.
By the end, you’ll know how to move through intense moments with compassion and steadiness—turning triggers into opportunities for growth and deeper connection.
Module 5: Your Nervous System Guides Your Relationships
In this foundational module, you’ll discover how your nervous system shapes every interaction—from how you interpret tone and facial expressions to how you handle conflict and closeness.
You’ll learn what it means when your body is in a regulated (ventral vagal) state and ready for connection, versus when it shifts into sympathetic activation (wired for conflict) or dorsal vagal shutdown (emotional withdrawal).
Through clear explanations and practical examples, I’ll walk you through concepts like neuroception and titration, showing you how to gently change old patterns and return to safety faster.
By the end, you’ll understand how to read your body’s cues, regulate in real time, and create relationships grounded in calm, trust, and connection.
Module 6: Rupture & Repair
Every relationship experiences moments of disconnection—but what matters most is how you come back together. In this module, you’ll learn the Cycle of Relationship—from harmony, to disillusionment, to repair—and how to move through each stage with understanding instead of blame.
You’ll watch a partner demonstration of the Repair & Forgiveness Conversation, showing exactly how to take accountability, express hurt, and rebuild safety after conflict.
By the end, you’ll have a compassionate framework for healing ruptures, restoring trust, and deepening the love and connection that brought you together in the first place.
Module 7: Starting Important Conversations
Bringing up sensitive topics can feel intimidating—but it doesn’t have to. In this module, you’ll learn how to start important conversations in a way that feels safe, respectful, and productive for both people.
I’ll walk you through how to ask for permission and schedule meaningful conversations so timing and tone work in your favor, not against you. You’ll also learn a powerful tool called Connection Language—simple phrases that help you express truth with kindness and clarity.

By the end, you’ll feel confident bringing up the things that matter most—without triggering defensiveness or shutdown.
Module 8: Setting Clear Expectations
So many conflicts begin with unspoken or mismatched expectations. In this module, you’ll learn how to communicate your needs clearly—before misunderstandings or resentment build.
I’ll guide you through the Setting Expectations framework and walk you step-by-step through a worksheet exercise designed to help you and your partner get on the same page about roles, responsibilities, and emotional needs.
By the end, you’ll have practical tools to prevent confusion, reduce tension, and create a stronger sense of teamwork and trust in your relationship.
Bonus Module: The 3 Stages of Love

Hi, I'm Dr. Nevin
For over 11 years, I've walked alongside women on their healing journeys — from the sunlit coast of California to the misty mountains of Asheville, where I built and sold thriving wellness practices rooted in lifestyle medicine. Along the way, I've had the privilege of working with everyday women and celebrities alike, and what I've discovered is the same truth every single time: the missing piece in healing isn't a protocol. It's connection.
Relationship and interpersonal skills are the most overlooked — and most powerful — tools in the healing world. That's what I've dedicated my work to now. Because when a woman learns how to truly connect — with herself and with others — everything changes.
When I'm not doing this work, you'll find me somewhere near trees, water, or a mountain view. Nature has always been my reset. I'm endlessly grateful for my husband Patrick and our sweet son Aiden, who remind me every day what real connection actually feels like.
